Rhythms of Winter

A Seasonal Mini Retreat of Somatic & Restorative Yoga

A gentle invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your inner rhythms.

As winter arrives, nature begins to withdraw its energy inward.

Trees shed what is no longer needed.

The earth rests.

Growth becomes less visible,

yet important transformation is taking place beneath the surface…

And yet, many of us continue moving at the same pace we did through the warmer months—pushing, striving, and staying busy,

—even when our bodies may be asking for something different.

“Rhythms of Winter” is a nourishing three-hour mini retreat

designed to help you

pause,

exhale,

and align with the wisdom of the season.

Through somatic practices, restorative yoga, guided reflection, and seasonal teachings inspired by Ayurveda, and Circadian biology, you will be invited to explore what it means to slow down with intention and cultivate a deeper relationship with rest.

This is not about doing more.

It is about creating space to listen…

Winter: A Season of Restoration

According to Ayurvedic wisdom, winter is a season that invites us towards nourishment, steadiness, and conservation of energy.

It is a time to replenish our reserves, honour our need for rest, and

prepare the fertile ground from which spring growth will eventually emerge.

Just as nature turns inward, winter offers us an opportunity to do the same.

To reflect.

To restore.

To reconnect with what truly matters.

For many people, this can feel unfamiliar or even challenging.

Slowing down can bring up discomfort.

Rest can feel unproductive.

Silence can feel strange in a world that celebrates constant movement.

This retreat offers a supportive space to begin exploring a different way.
