welcome

Hi, my name is Jodie,

I live in the beautiful coastal town of Lakes Entrance in East Gippsland….

I found yoga over 25 years ago, when I was looking for something to add to my gym/fitness routine…..

At the time, I had no idea how important my practice would come to be….

My then teacher, became influential in how my yoga career would unfold. She would become my teacher and mentor, as she took me, apprenticeship style, through my first Yoga teacher training…For which I will be eternally grateful to her for sharing her decades of unbounded knowledge.

I continued my training further, with My Health Yoga, Lisa Peterson and the incredible Donna Farhi, who has become another, highly influential in the way I flavour my classes.

I will forever be a student of both Yoga and life, as I love to keep learning, exploring, and sharing on and off the mat …

Yoga has opened my eyes to my inner AND outer worlds, and kept me balanced through tough times…. It is my absolute pleasure to help others on their own path, to truly get to know themselves, and use the skills they learn on the mat to empower themselves off the mat, in how they approach their daily lives…

As I continue on this journey, both on the mat and through my life, I am finding that my teaching is changing. I see myself more now as being NOT just a Yoga teacher, but, more of a MIND/BODY PROFESSIONAL..

And it’s through my learned experiences that life throws at me, and of course us all, that my further studies are influencing my approach to what I teach, and how people can work privately with me.

I of course, continue learning what I can about Yoga, but I am enjoying bringing Trauma Awareness/Nervous System Support and, Quantum/Circadian Biology into my sessions, both in my group AND working within a one-one setting. I am finding that combining these modalities are such a powerful way to support our personal growth.
