Is an online Yoga Studio delivering FREE YOGA within a PUBLIC FACEBOOK GROUP

  • Should I go to a studio to practice my Yoga or should I practice at home?

  • I would suggest BOTH if you can…

  • Practicing alongside others gives us a beautiful sense of belonging, in Yoga we call this a Sanga. It’s also helpful at times to be under the watchful eye of a good teacher to offer any adjustments to your practice.

  • Practicing at home offers a whole lot of other benefits. Yoga is a practice of self awareness and interoception, and many find it easier when practicing at home, with less external distractions, a more personalized practice and opportunity to move deeper into their Yoga practice.

  • I’d like to practice at home but I don’t know where to start !

  • Following along with a good teacher that’s experienced in teaching Yoga online can not only lead you through a great practice experience, but can teach in a way that gives you the skills and confidence to practice on your own.

In my opinion, a regular, preferably daily, home practice is really where the juice is !

When you make a commitment to yourself, and your practice, that you will practice consistently,

you will find that your practice will grow, becoming deeper, and the many benefits of Yoga start to become instilled into your being…

Many people tell me that they would love a daily practice. They either know from experience, or have heard, how Yoga does, or can, make a difference to how they feel. Although, when they’ve attempted to practice at home in the past, it either only lasts a few days, weeks at best, or they get on their mat and don’t know what to do…

Does that sound familiar ?

This is why I decided to create Home Practice Studio.

I wanted to create an online space that people could come to, and not only practice Yoga, but, to be seen and heard!

There is plenty of Yoga out there on the internet for anyone to follow along to…

But this is different!

This is an interactive group, where you are encouraged to participate in the group, not only in the classes, but in discussions.. When you join live, we’re all practicing together, and interacting in the comments. If you’re catching the replay, again, we’re sharing our experiences in the comments…

You are even encouraged to post onto the page yourself if you wish !!! Share your Yoga, your thoughts, ask questions…

This is an online Sanga !! A community !!

(although there are weekly and monthly opportunities to come together face to face with monthly In person workshops/retreats and weekly get togethers to share in conversation over a cuppa, both are located in Lakes Entrance)

Each month is a different learning and practice opportunity. Each month with a different theme to explore..

And yes we practice Yoga, but you will be encouraged to practice in a way that suits you!

To help you learn how to do this, I teach quite differently to many other Yoga teachers. (or so I’m told!)..

I will teach you, drawing from many aspects of Yoga, yes, BUT, my style of teachings are heavily influenced by Somatic awareness, I also like to at times, draw from my years of study (and lived experience) in the fields of Trauma and Nervous System support, and, the more recent studies of Quantum and Circadian Biology, and how these apply to our practice..

I am finding that combining these areas is a powerful way for you, the practitioner, to form a deeper understanding of yourself, and create a much more nuanced practice, that truly suits the individual that you are.. Giving greater sovereignty, over not only your “practice”, but your life..

SO, WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT INSIDE THE GROUP ?

A new theme each month

  • A live class each Monday morning 9am (AEST)

  • where there is a 5th Monday in the month, there will be no class

  • alternating weekly,

  • 60-75 min asana class and

  • 30 min asana/pranayama/meditation class

  • Replays remain in the group for 4 weeks before being removed, so you have four practice replays to choose from at any given time

With all this, you’ll have plenty of Yoga to keep you busy.
